The rangefinder is a great value for the price. Works great and easy to operate.I would highly recommend this item. The instructions said that it comes with a battery, mine did not.

Came fast and on time as expected. At first glance it seems very cheap. It is a "bare essential" rangefinder that works, and works well. The case, is like a fake leather case, plastic of course but it holds the Rangefinder well. It is bulky and large like a pair of bino's, and heavy. It claims to come with a battery, it didnt. For the price point, next day shipping under 200 bucks, and its claim for 1200m/1500m, its worth it in my book. I have only been able to range out to 1160yards thus far, and have not been able to range it further, IT WORKS. Its great to keep next to you if you are stationary, if you stalk hunt, you probably want to get something smaller with less range and pay double. I was coyote hunting and ranged 2 bull elk as 1039yds. The one thing i dislike is its bulky. But i love the price.

Just got this last night. Couldn't wait to try it out today even though it's blowing hard and drizzling. Anyway it read an open hillside at 850 yds and a house at about 1135 yds.. I'm sure it will do even better on a nice day. It has a rain setting and if you're wondering you can read in meters or yards. Have to admit I was a little leary for such a low price. Have a Bushnell 400 and am lucky if I could read a house at 265 yds. The only thing negative about GSI I can say is it's not a real sharp picture but then I'm not looking through binoculars either. It's made in China. No regrets on this purchase. Can't wait to take it hunting.
