I have no idea who the rocket scientist at Wii was that decided to make a golf game with a user interface that looks and feels like a channel changer - especially since the game itself is so realistic. Anyway, the Chicken Stick is a game changer in that you have a real golf grip and can do a real golf swing. Im 6'4 and 250 lbs and I whip the club very hard. The Wii device is very secure in the Chicken Stick so after you use it for a while you get very comfortable with a full swing. The grip is a real golf grip and the weighting is such that you get a real golf club feel. It really is a fantastic upgrade from the standard channel changer wii device. A real game changer.

My father-in-law and I have played TW PGA Tour 10 every week for a year now... and loved it.
We have moved onto TW 11 and tried True View/Tour Pro but found the tracking (even with the Wii Remote Plus add-on) to be incapable of any real consistency. As he is wheelchair-bound, this game has re-introduced him to the joys and agony of golf again.

Then yesterday the Chicken Stick arrived... Holy Moses!

The Golf Pride Grip, The True Temper shaft and the suspended weight of the controller is about 500% more like a real golf simulation than just the Wii remote alone. Very good design and quality construction! We've accidentally dropped it 3 times from 3+ feet onto hardwood floors with no effect... Kudos!

Now it's obviously NOT better than hitting real balls with real clubs on a real course.

I got this for my husband as we play Tiger Woods 2011 Wii golf almost every evening. He is a real golfer and has been his whole life. He loved this until it broke last night. He only had it a few weeks. There is an attachment where you put your pointer finger to pull back on it rather than using the B button as it is at the bottom of the stick and the top of the stick is like a real golf club. It is made of plastic and broke at the circle part where the finger pulls on it. Now we have to let Amazon know what happened, and for what it cost, I sure hope we can get a refund or another one to replace it. Hopefully, they will start making that part out of a thicker plastic.
